Who can give me an explanation of this phrase "membership to asmallworld"? So what does the "to" here mean? Is this a prep word? Thanks!

Yes, "to" is a preposition and can sometimes also be exchanged with "of" in some cases. I'm sure there are others her who can better explain the grammatical details, but this should give you some idea.

Hi. So better use "of" rather than" to"? right?

Nope,I don't know for sure,it's used by a foreign website,so...maybe I ain't fussy abt the grammar stuff...

There's nothing, really, to add to what @GoAskAlice has said. It is more usual to talk about "membership of ..." or "being a member of ..." something. However, since membership of ASmallWorld.com is by invitation only, you may have been invited to become a member of it and the person inviting you (or talking about membership of the site) may have confused the preposition and put 'to' instead of 'of'.
