The number of active users varies greatly from day to day. Some will visit the site every day while others are just occasional visitors. It is impossible to guess how many people are visiting the site daily. It is clearly less than it was when there was an earnings program, though it is almost certainly increasing as new members join and discover the new benefits of the site.
Although the site was clearly designed to be similar to Twitter, there are very big differences - notably that you are not limited to 140 characters per post and that the format is designed to make discussion possible with a hierarchical response/comment format.

Welcome to mylot family. 
It is difficult to make out the number of active users on a particular day or hour because of different time zone. Many users are not regular here, they keep coming off and on. Mylot is different from Twitter. On tweeter you probably have a word limit and people could 'tweet' about anything or everything under the sky. Here you make discussions within the certain guidelines.
