Dieting is a special, restricted course of food adopted with the aim of losing weight or for other medical reasons. In recent times, individuals have become more conscious of their weight and shape and those that are overweight have to contend with issues such as hypertension and other heart related illnesses, while also battling invariably with the development of low self esteem and poor self image because they believe that they are simply not good enough. In order to combat obesity and excess weight, weight loss programs and medications like pills and miracle creams have infiltrated the health care and general fitness market.
However these days, people are not only weight conscious but are also health conscious. Unfortunately, most of the medications and weight loss formulas are not without adverse negative effects, this perhaps is the major reason why people now prefer natural ways of losing weight and to still maintain good health.
Aside dieting, there are other natural therapies which have been discovered as the harder and slower path to weight loss.
