The longest trip I have taken was 17 hours in the air from London to Hawaii. It took 11 hours from London to LA and then 6 hours to Hawaii. I have also flown from Canada to Thailand and Malaysia which were both 24 hour trips and also about 17 hours in the air.
What can I say, I love flying. Have flown enough miles to go around the planet about 6 times.

the farthest i've been to is singapore, kevinwoodard. and it's such a beautiful country --- one you'd want to visit again and again and again--- if you can afford it, of course.

By airplane I travelled from Hong Kong to Maine and two three weeks later made the return trip from Maine to Saigon. By car I drove from Mexico City, Mexico to Maine via Texas, New Mexico, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington State, Idaho, Calgary, Lake Louise, Canada....then across Trans Canada Highway to Ottawa, to Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, New York, Massachussets, New Hampshire and to Maine.....Then 5 weeks later I made the return trip from Maine to Mexico City by way of Washington D.C. and then across most of the mid southern states. It was over 10,000 miles of driving in 6 weeks. Wow....just writing about it makes me tired. But a wonderful trip it was. I also made another trip 20 years later driving from New York to California and back in 2 weeks.....in a VW beetle no less. The first trip was made in a 1959 Impala convertible. The first trip was made in 1961 and the road west was Route 66....there was no super highway at the time.

OOOHH!! I´ve made a total of 82 hours (non stop), of BUS, so that´s a large time being travelling just to one point. The whole vaation was about a month, but it was 82 hours in two times: getting there and coming back... auch!
