I was amazed that in this day and age so much attention (negative first) was brought to bear against Cheerios for running the sweet little biracial girl that loved her daddy so much she poured cereal on his chest while he was sleeping.
If you saw it, what did you think?
I thought it was very touching and cute.

I don't watch TV at all, so I had to go look up the commercial on YouTube before I could really weigh in on it. The commercial is cute, and I don't see any reason for it to be controversial. The fact that it is simply because it shows a biracial family is pretty ridiculous. It's 2013. Shouldn't we be past that sort of intolerance?

@PhredWreck Wow...I had no idea that they used methods like that for recruitment. It makes me wonder if they are cold-calling random numbers, or if they're screening ahead of time to make sure they're actually reaching their target demographic...
