Hi all!
Life is like water in a river. Life remains stationary like water till ripples just change the entire scenario. Like-wise we all keep getting shocks of life, some happy and some sad moments. Daily shocks which come as ripples shake us like anything.
Do you feel that life (water) with ripples (shocks) would be monotonous and ripples give us a chance to prove ourselves and to brave the odds. Your views please.

I never saw life as water. I used to see it as an endless stream of pain. Then I met my guy and now I see it as a tree. It changes but maintains it's true nature and structure.

So you have given it a new dimension, for you life is like a tree (instead of water) and now you live as a tree grow and live. Thanks for joining us.

Hullo Deepak
I would prefer it if life is just a serene stream with no wild currents, frightening whirlpools; a few ripples here and there are part of any river but I wish these ripples are more like bubbles than real ripples which are a bit disturbing to the entire expanse of water where we are; if huge stones fall on the river they won't be ripples but can splash so much of water on our own heads giving us shocks .Let us all pray that God gives us serenity in our lives.

Your idea of life being like a stream appears bright. No one wants any great ripples in the water.

Hello Dpk, I´m happy to read you again! I really don´t like ripples, I really do appretiate the monotonous days. I think I have had enough of them (ripples) all I want is peace.
Blessings... dainy

If we compare life to water then we have no choice to redirect it but to go with the flow, however we may hold it still as to what shape of life we would want it to fit,big or small, simple or artistic depends on you where you would want to house or stay in comfort of a container.

@dainy1313 - I think no one likes ripples in his life (if life is like stationary water). Everyone wants peace but life is cruel, ripples keep coming every other day, whether we want it or not. Thanks for responding.

What I can say about life is that without challenges, without hardships, we wouldn't be as tough or as strong as we are now. Life should never be monotonous, and I don't think that a monotonous life is possible either. There will be things that will always pop up every now and then.

Hi Aja103654 - Yes, you are very right that hardships in life teaches us very valuable lessons. Like-wise stationary water without ripples coming in between will like dull and drab. Therefore, ripples are part of life and should be accepted. Thanks for joining and sharing.

No problem! Having a stagnant life is hardly called 'living'
