To blog or not to blog?

My older children have been telling my that I should start a blog for new moms with my little tips I have learned over time that make motherhood easier. I have been giving it a lot of thought especially now that I have a new one and could use the extra money. What I was wondering is if anyone on here has had experience with blogging and if it was worth the time it demands.

You will never know unless you try. If you do use WordPress on your own domain instead of trying something free. You want full control with no restriction on what you promote to make money. Then when you find something write a review of it and include a referral link. Your cost should stay under a couple of bucks a month, so there is no pressure to profit in desperation.

If you love writing and sharing it, I suggest that you blog and join online writing sites like bubblews. I had abandoned my blog when I discovered myLot. I am sad though that this site stops paying thus most of my friends aren't here anymore.
I suggest that you write your thoughts and save it in a folder in your computer then copy and paste it in sites like myLot and other earning sites that you wish to join. I like it more here in writing earning sites that blogging because I get MORE responses here than in blog.
