I know Father’s Day means a lot to a lot of people. Because the role of a father in every ones life is just like part and parcel. The first person in the world whose one finger had given us a lot of faith is our father. I still remember the picture when i used to hold the finger of my father with my small hand and i hold that so tight so that it does not give away from my grip! I believe a lot of people remember those memories when they used to hold the finger (not hand) of their father. I had a lot of question to my father i remember. Though i asked a million questions to my father, still he did not get annoyed and answered all those questions with patience. He behaved like he wants more question from me.
I remember those days when my father asked me to tell from A to Z. Keeping the head on my fathers chest i used to tell A, B, C, D … He used to toss his whole body carrying my whole weight and i did not know when i felt asleep.
I remember, he used to take me to the school and waited outside the school to pick me up from school. He taught me my lessons at night with care. He was rude sometimes, sometimes he was so caring that i got annoyed because of his extra care.

What a nice written tribute to your father and the love you had for him. You are right, fathers (and mother's) hold a special place in their children's heart for all of time (as do children in the hearts of their parents as well of course!)
I know you mentioned towards the end that sometimes he was rude, and sometime he annoyed you/was over protective....but isn't it funny, (at least i find) that as you get older you tend to forget about the "not so great times" and only want to remember the finger holding, the patience he had while teaching you, the fun playful times.
