Can anyone help me choose a song for a funeral?

My older cousin committed suicide last week. I was particularly close to him and offered to choose a song to be played at his funeral. He liked the Chili Peppers at one stage and I'm thinking one of their songs, but since I'm not a huge fan, I don't know many of their songs other than the singles. I would like to know from other Chilis fans if there is a song appropriate to be played at his funeral. Some background- he suffered from depression and personality disorder, he kept to himself, he was extremely lonely and people often thought he was just arrogant and grumpy, while inside he was a very lonely and sick boy... so Scar Tissue is out "with the birds I'll share this lonely view..."- uh uh! My aunty would also like an Elton John song because my cousin's father committed suicide 10 years ago and he was an Elton fan. Any suggestions?
