Vacation going fine, longer update later.
Today we drove up to the blow hole, and then went snorkeling in Napili Bay. Naomi and Cary were with me. Dearra stayed in the room. Got the twins out over the rocks and saw several fish, including a HUGE puffer. Naomi wen't back for her fins, and when she came back, Cary decided to go play in the surf. He wasn't gone more than a minute when Naomi shouted, "turtle". I turned around, and there was the mother of all turtles under the water eating algae off the rocks. If I stretch my arms out wide, it was maybe bigger around than that. It was by far the biggest turtle I had ever seen. I maybe once saw a Galapagos tortoise that was bigger, but this was the biggest turtle. Made my day.
Aloha!

way to make me jealous for many reasons a) you are on vacation b) the weather here has been overcast and rainy...i would love to be enjoying sunshine, even if it was only here in maine, and not in hawaii.
To bad you didn't have an underwater camera with you....(unless you did?) would be awesome to see a picture of that huge turtle!!

Children are surely lost in admiration of the enchanting scenery and will have fond memoeies of their time in Hawaii.
