India and Sri Lanka will clash in the semifinals of the ICC Champions Trophy here on Thursday in what will be a repeat of the 2011 World Cup final in Mumbai. Unbeaten in the group stages, India will be the fancied team on paper but the Lanka's are on the ascendancy after defeating both England and Australia en route to the semifinals.
Sri Lanka, by contrast, have got better with every game. After losing a low-scoring thriller against New Zealand at Cardiff by a wicket, Lanka bounced back with a commanding seven-wicket victory against England at The Oval. The Lanka's did have some anxious moments against the Aussies but the 20-run win would have given the islanders a big shot in the arm ahead of the semis.

Tomorrow's game between India and SriLanka is a semifinal. and the winner of that will play either South Africa or England depending on who wins today's group B semi. Right now England are thrasing SA holding them down to 175 runs after bowling them out in only 48 overs. Although India are considered faourites especially because their fielding is so good and their batters are effective, her bowlers are dire. I feel the outcome of this year's cg13 is unpredictable though obviosly I'm backing England. I reckon they'll thrash Australia in the Ashes too.
