Ok KIshore how about overclocking my computer motherboard Asrock,pentium 4 1,8hz ,how to overclocking the processor?

dont know if asrock board ur using provides headroom for overclocking. Go to ur bios and find the fsb(bus speed) setting(like 133mhz or something similar). Increase it slowly keeping temperature in check. A y mhz increment in bus speed will give you y*multiplier increase in the speed of ur processor. if ur multiplier is 20 and u increase fsb by 20 mhz u will get 20*20=400mhz increment in processor speed. Everything shud go well if ur temperature of processor is normal. Though i doubt u will b able to reach 400mhz overclock on p4 and asrock

please don't try to overclocking. it will be bad for your computer.

no risk no gain.
How else can u get the performance of a 1000$ processor by paying just 160$. When done right with right guidance u can reap benefits. To give the guidance we are here. To do it right u hav to depend on ur instincts. Good results will b obtained if u leave the volatges alone(4 newbies) and keep an eye for heat.
