A few years back I got sick, and have not worked since then. I have made it by the skin of my teeth on trying to survive by myself. my husband left me about a year after. I lost my health insurance my family was left in my apartment with no electric or gas, I remember going to the library every day just to stay cool and have something to do. I was going to bed when it got dark and getting up when the sun came up just to be able to get things done,. because when you have no electric there is not alot of light, and badically it sucks, was the middle of summer and over 100 degrees, everyday was a trip to the local qt to get ice, having to drag the cooler outside to drain it, my rent was behind and I had no where to turn. i started doing small odd jobs to make ends meet, my disability had already been denied several times. i could no longer due alot of things i could do before because of the stroke and to this day it pisses me off to no end; it not only effected me physically but mentally and then he left me felt he was getting old. ha ha ha. jokes on me, i gave thar man 10 years of my life and he walked away from me like i was nothing, i went from paying my bills when they came in to barely paying them bpleafore they shut them off... I had no savings and on a daily basis i was finding out just how much damage my husband had done and that i would pay for the things he done for at least a year to come. as a matter of fact sometimes i am stilll discoivering what he did. and of course still paying. not so good anymore, because i have become behind again and have been trying to get help. which is a joke itself. the resources they have for people are non existant for people like me. the ones who never had to sit on the phone for hours trying to get help from the government funded programs that have no clue what it is like to go through daily struggles of just surviving. want more let me know,,,

Sadly, many of the people working for these government funded programs will either accept or reject your application based on their own personal feelings rather than on whether or not you actually need the help. This is why there are so many people on welfare who don't even have to be and a lot of people that are truly struggling don't have anywhere to turn. Do you happen to know where your husband is? Because he is the one who needs to be paying for his mess. Not you. If you can find him, then give them his location and contact information. Let him deal with it. In fact I would tell those people off and tell them to work harder at finding him rather than picking on you. I'm sorry you have to put up with all this and really hope that things get better for you.
