I had been in school online for four (4) years. I completely lost touch with news, current events, family gatherings, friends, and acquaintances. My eyes had been on full-throttle doing research, reading chapters, and writing papers. When I graduated I didn't want to read anything or examine any homework because I was literally wiped out. One morning when I arrived home from work, my mother -in-law was watching an episode of L Word. I decided to watch it with her one particular morning and found she and I were watching the entire season of the show. I am not a TV person but the sitcom was interesting and well-engineered. Well, one day I decided to go online and see if any of the cast were on Twitter. I discovered about five (5) cast members and decided to contact them all with accolades about their roles. No one responded. My son came in and saw me posting to one of the members and said, "Celebrities don't talk to regular people." I thought, "regular people?" I'm not regular, I am important in my realm of acquaintances. But low and behold, none of the cast members responded to my tweets. So, I ceased following them and then one day, Jennifer Beals responds to my tweet. I had made reference to her partner in the show (Tina) but Jennifer (Bette) Beals related another character whom I thought was a post-time distraction for (Bette) in the film. Now, that I have her attention should I relate my position or just leave well enough alone?

i think that these people have a gazillion people messaging them, emailing them, tweeting them etc and don't have the time to respond to all of everyone. Awesome that out of the 5 you messaged even one came back and responded to you!

I get it! If one person responded to my contact then I am doing good. So I am not regular after all. I will leave well enough alone from now on. Thanks for the view.
