questions on patriotism

somehow i feel lost...do you think that professionals leaving your country seeking for greener pasteurs abroad instead of serving their own countrymen could not be considered as patriots?

To some extent yes. The moment you leave your country you're no longer serving it in an economical sense and 'service' sense depending on your profession and pushing the growth of that country, no matter how stable and secure it is.
