Taking Photographs

If you own a 'smart phone', do you take most of your photographs, or videos, with the smart phone or digital camera these days? It seems more and more people are taking photos with the smart phone, I am one of them. It is just more convenient to do than carry a digital camera around. Sometimes though, I will carry both because my digital camera has more zoom abilities. If you like taking photographs in Black and White or Sepia, some smart phones, like mine, do not have this capability, so I do have to carry my digital camera with me. It is not as if my digital camera is real heavy, I just prefer to use my smart phone these days.
One reason I like using my smart phone for photographs is easy upload to social media websites and I can email the photos to myself, family and friends instantly. This makes taking photographs with my smart phone fun. Recently, I have begun taking photos inside restaurants I eat at if they have funny or cool signs tacked on their walls. If I like the signs, I will share them on social media and or email them.
This is something I am not instantly able to do with my digital camera where I have to load the photos to my laptop, then decide to share them on social media and send to my family or friends.
So, how do you take photographs, with your smart phone and or digital camera?

I shoot with both..it just depends on what I'm shooting. Usually if I'm out and about, the cellphone is perfect (I use an iphone). But when I shoot people for headshots or other projects, I will use the DSLR.
I know some people who ONLY shoot with smartphones...I need the flexibility of a DSLR sometimes.
