When I was a children,it's unusual to meet a bond hair, blue eyes guy. They as if like the alien so I will be very excited if I say "Hello" to them and they also respond to me.I still remember when I was a primary school student,a fat American woman came to school, and I am the first children talk to her.She said:How are you? I answered"I'm fine, thank you".Then, she asked me:"How old are you?"What joking me now is I misunderstood the question as "How are you?"Although I were confused but I still respond her the same words. Then, the lady was confused too,and she asked me again, and I were confused and I even thought she is an idiot. How dramatic!
Now,I know the importance of intercultural communication. Our steps are toward the global. It's will benefit ourselves if we can speak fluently English. Several months ago,I met a man from Australia
when I visited Beijing. We went to the Summer Palace together.Through the whole day getting along with him,I found the key to communication isn't depends on how high your English level is.I just need talking to him by simple words or sentence, with my actions and our situations,he can always understand what I want to express. And he also slow down in order to make me follow his meaning.Although sometimes I will suddenly say Chinese, and sometimes he needs to repeat for few times,it doesn't affect us to enjoy our day.Through the day,I found that foreigners don't like others pay for him,but in China,we always pay to show our enthusiasm. When we took photos,he asked me why people always like to do "V" in hands,he was confused what the "V" means. And he also told me he thought China is a strange country with different culture.Maybe that the differences between our countries.
