To some People My Chemical Romance is just a group of wanna be’s that put a lot of make-up to make them look catchy and scream to their songs. Little do they know that just a tiny part of their music that make myself listen to their stuff. Let me define their music to you. Some people would say that My Chemical Romance Is just one class of genre in general. Well that just a stupid thing to say when you only listen to a certain band in particular My Chemical Romance. My Chemical Romance exploited the music industry with every kind of genre they can get their hands to. For example from the song “Helena” which was a fast rock metal with a lot of emotion going into your head when your listen. “Helena” that was released in their second album “Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge” was issued by media an “emo” song that promotes suicidal propaganda to the teenagers. Years later the third album was released under the title “The Black Parade” which has two song that ranked top 10 in the Europe billboard charts. The two songs was “Welcome to the Black Parade” and “Famous last words” which was a heavy metal and emphasizes that you should not be afraid in this world when you are alone. Again this was completely different from their 2nd album. From the 3rd album single entitled “I Don’t Love You” was a complete different genre because this one is a POWER BALLAD and soft to hear. After hearing “I Don’t Love You” this band therefore create a lot of different genre not just one but two. That was on my head the whole time. The 4th album was the changing part of their genre changing music. Like their producer would say after hearing the 4th album “You will lose interest to their previous albums” and I was like afraid to listen to that because I might not like their 4th album. Six months later was the judgment day after six months of wait since the announced of their 4th album, I got to listen to their new stuff and I was mesmerized on how they changed their style to heavy emotional trash rock metal to just a techno dance pop rock music and it was so good that I downloaded it right away. There was a song that got my attention “The Kids from Yesterday” As for the lyrics: And now this could be the last of all the rides we take So hold on tight and don't look back We don't care about the message or the rules they make We'll find you when the sun goes black And you want to live forever in the lights you make When we were young we used to say That you only hear the music when your heart begins to break Now we are the kids from yesterday All the cameras watch the accidents and stars you hate They only care if you can bleed Does the television make you feel the pills you ate? Or every person that you need to be 'Cause you wanna live forever in the lights you make When we were young we used to say That you only hear the music when your heart begins to break Now we are the kids from yesterday The message in these lyrics made me think that people can’t change back their past and they can’t do anything to get young again. So we should enjoy life as it is. Don’t regret what you have done and live by it to the fullest. The conclusion is My Chemical Romance always changes their music style and that’s the one I’ve been looking for. I’m happy to have been found one. And I hope My Chemical Romance gets back together. We need a true music in this world and I don’t want to listen to some stupid pop music America is addicted to right now. There literally no sense listening to that music at all. I hope some bands may follow up to My Chemical Romance music. So the next generation can listen to one of the greatest style with sense and passion.
