A lot of that is true if you were to look at some of the scientific studies, it mentions that it is high in antioxidants and couple of other chemicals that are good for you. From what I read it's good for glucose, losing weight, your heart, and a lot of other things.
But you need to drink organic greentea or look for something instead of the taste, get the real thing or it won't make a difference to be honest.

From what i have learned ,it's ture ,because tea poliphenols do most of work. Firstly ,green tea is better anti-aging and also improve cognitive function and memory, like ,just what you have said ,it can also reducing-lipid and promote good digestion. Second, many Chinese people often drink green tea for against or decrease cardiovascular diseases.i do not know the real experience ,i hope all of this can help you.
