this afternoon in the office, I saw little red ants marching in the my table. i'm just wondering why they keep on coming back to my table, though there's nothing there but my PC. several times that i've wiped them out, cleaned my table with alcohol with everything, but they still keep on coming back. --disappointed,...

It happens sometimes, Even in our kitchen army of big ants and some have wings will march on the wall and even on the kitchen platform though it is clean . It is difficult to control them as they even move on the kitchen floor and hall in hundreds. This is because if the place is cool they will come . Though not daily but once in a while .

Use a good detergent to clean up around the legs of the table. Don't forget the edges. You have to get rid of the ants pheromone trail which is leading other ants to your table to begin with. You might want to take apart and clean your pc and keyboard up too.
