Pool time in the country

We recently put up our pool in the back yard. It was so hot the day we put it up, around 90 plus degrees on that day. We had to take several breaks while setting it up. It takes two to three people to set it up properly. Anyway, we buy all the necessary chemicals to keep it clean and ph balanced. It isn't too bad right now but we live within 100 yards of a county road that keeps us supplied with plenty of dust. The supposed speed limit on this road is 35 MPH. However, some of these nuts out here think 60 is the new 35, so we get a tornado of dust every time a car goes by. If I wanted to swim in a dirty pond, we have one next door. Good luck to us trying to keep a clean pool.

Also another suggestion might be to get a big tarp, or a pool cover that you could use when the pool is not in use. This wouldn't totally eliminate the problem, but would at least cut down on it i think. Good luck! (and i am envious of your pool! it has been SO hot this past week here!)

How bout a fence around the pool? Preferably a tall one. Maybe the dust will be blocked then.
