I have been on the gaming side of youtube for a few years now, and only have about 35 subs. This is because of my recording equipment for my consoles. I have the EZcap which is a decent capture card, even though it is non-HD. However, it takes a while to setup and is hard to record audio with. I need to know what will make my recording more comfortable, like what capture cards, mics, or if I should use a headset. I do not have a lot of cash right now, so I can't buy pricey stuff. Just let me know what you think!

YouTube is getting bigger and bigger everyday! It gets really hard to make it big on YouTube and the only way to get noticed is by making high quality content and sharing it to gain a fan base. In my opinion you have a good capture care for the price range. Since you don't have a ton of cash, the best thing to do is record the video and render it in high quality. It won't be the best but would be watchable. As for the microphone, anything that records audio will do. I would start off with a Cyber Acoustics Headset With Microphone (AC-404). It has good quality headphones as well as a standout mic. Also, It's only $25! After a while consider changing to a higher quality microphone but for now this is the best equipment.
