WE NEED DISCIPLINE OVER USE OF FOSSIL FUEL IN THE WORLD

The whole world is depending on fossil fuel. This will be over within a short period. Human has lived on this world for millions of years and will be living for millions of year. Do we have a right to finish it ? Future nations will curse on us. We don't know the effect on earth without fossil fuel inside it.
I am not asking to stop using fossil fuel. We do not have a correct policy or discipline over use of it. Some vehicles run 3 kilometers per liters while other 20 km. My opinion is that we need to have discipline and guide line on burning of earth fossil fuel. What is your opinion.?

Until a viable alternative is found, it's all we have. Even electric cars are basically coal powered cars, because that's where we currently get most electricity from. Solar and wind are no where near efficient and nuclear isn't all that popular these days. So, whether we like fossil fuel or not, it's pretty much what we're stuck with for now.

Germany is up to 25% renewable energy. If a country that hardly ever sees the sun can do it, surely we can.
