Are you a morning or a night person?

Being a student I feel I am both. On the weekdays I try my best to be a day person as I have to go to class and work part time. On the weekends you can find me out with friends and staying up till dawn. Its kind of hard to keep up with both the lifestyles but I manage as best I can. If I had a choice I would definitely be a night owl, I love the solitude and quietness the night life offers. Though sometimes I prefer the day time as most people are awake and there is so much more to do. I feel like the world is not built for us night owls though because there is not much to do and most places end up being closed.

I am basically a morning person and I like go early to bed and I believe in rising early. It is all fresh in the morning and it is easier to get our jobs done in the morning.

I am most certainly not a morning person....or at least not an early morning person. When left to my own accords (meaning no work or business type things infringing on my schedule) i fall into a pattern where my natural sleep schedule is something like 2 or 3 a.m. until 10 ish. I think there are a few factors that i can attribute it to. Firstly, both my parents were night owls, mostly because of their jobs. My father was a police officer, and worked mostly the third shift, so he was used to not getting home from work until 3 or 4 am, would be up for a little bit to unwind, then sleep until early afternoon, and my mother was a nurse, and worked a lot of shifts like that in hospitals as well. So as a child, unless we had to go to school, we were encouraged to sleep in, or at least keep ourselves quiet and not bother mom and dad when they were sleeping (was usually easier just to sleep in, as we couldn't really go anywhere or do anything with out permission, which would mean waking one of them up....)and also i do not have children of my own, so i never had to get up early to feed the kids and get them off to school and what not. I do agree, the world is NOT made for night owls, unless all you want to do is party. you can't schedule an 8 p.m. dr's appt. or dental cleaning, or go to the bank to cash a check at 10 p.m. LOL
