What kinds of tattoos do you have?

What kinds of tattoos do you have? Do they represent anything? I have 1 tattoo at the moment. I got it about 4 years ago after my 18th birthday took about 3 1/2 hours because it is rather large (about 5 inches in circumference).. at least for my first. It is known as the symbol for the 'Tree of Life'. It is located on my right hip, the trunk comes up right at my waist line, leaving the roots hidden. Tree of life theories are associated with different aspects of life such as religion, science, mythology, philosophy, etc. The meaning associated with the tree of life can differ in different contexts. In various mythologies, theologies and philosophies around the world, tree of life is used as a motif or symbol to represent many different qualities. The concept of tree of life is also used in reference with the phenomenon of evolution. The phenomenon is used metaphorically to explain the theory of common descent. I really like this depiction as it is close to the symbolism and meaning that I got it to represent. I would also like to ad that it is said that humans develop 'roots' of beliefs and 'branch out' by means of wisdom. The 'trunk' i.e. the mind & body keeps the roots of beliefs and branches of wisdom connected with each other. This is an image of it for the curious. https://www.hammockforums.net/gallery/files/1/1/8/9/3/tree_tattoo_original.jpg

I do not have any tattoo nor am interested in having a tattoo engraved on my body. I know I could attract others without having a tattoo on my body.

I don't have any tattoos, i have thought about them form time to time, but it always seemed to be a passing fancy, and since a tattoo is a life time commitment, i figured that if i wasn't passionate about having it for a really long stretch of time, then it is probably better to not do it and regret it later. I do have many friends who have tattoos though, and some beautiful ones at that. I checked out the pic and that looks really nice. I like the detail in the trunk and roots

I don't have one, but if I did, it would be something small, feminine and easy to cover up...
