Doing what is right

Sometimes doing what is right seem to be the wrong thing at the moment, but should we still do it even though it may not be the wisest thing to do. There are time a person could be caught up in a situation and it seems like the best thing to avoid problems at the very moment is to do what is wrong and lie, but how should one act in a scenario like this? I have been there before and I can tell you that it is not as easy as it may look. The truth should be told no matter what and there is no ifs, buts, or may be's. Telling the truth and doing what is right is the most accurate thing to do because it may be wrong at the time, but it will speak of how honest you are in heart. May be the other person can get upset but after they really stop to think they will realize that you could have lied. So in conclusion, doing what is right is alright right no matter what the situation may be, and if we all keep this in mind we shall be elevated and be more trusted than we think and know.
