Should The US Attack Syria? / myLot

I am not a citizen of the US but i would like to hear your opinion about the possible attack on syria(rumors says it would be on saturday) so what do you think guys? is it for the best intrest of the US to get involved in this?

While nobody can condone Syria's apparent use of chemical weapons and the suffering which is going on in the country at the moment, I do not believe that it is appropriate or wise for any country to take it upon itself to 'bash the bully', at least until the full report from the UN inspectors has been received. If Obama decides to attack Syria, he will be making the same mistake as Bush made by attacking Iraq. I am heartily glad that, this time around, the British government has voted against any military action at this time.

Precisely. And the hypocrisy is astonishing. I hear the SAME things coming out of this administration as we did the Bush administration in 2003, from the SAME people who screamed against it in 2003. And I will be surprised if they go to congress and get a declaration of war. They didn't for Libya, I see no reason they will for this. I'm pretty sure there is not nearly enough support in Congress for military action and they wouldn't not get a Congressional declaration if they did ask. Of course, it isn't as if they wouldn't do legal back flips to justify doing so with out congress. this is going to be a disaster. Welcome WWIII.

No one likes war except the beasts,we live in a peaceful world,if the US can not follow the law of the world,maybe someday in the future the result will give this country a hurt whether it is strong or not.

i would quite like to hear your opinion. my opinion - glad our government voted as they did.
