I have a lot of friends, classmates, relatives and people I don't know (maybe just added me because we're familiar with each other) that keep on posting their lives on facebook.
I wonder how they keep their lives privately. They don't want be talked about but they keep on posting things that can be a great reason and also a way for people to do that.
They get mad when people talk about them, but it is really them that makes their own troubles. We know our limitations, we don't want people getting into our lives, we have to keep in mind that we always have to be careful. So if you have something, or anything that you want to share, but you don't want the people of the whole world to know it, why post it on facebook ?

Quite an interesting discussion.
You are very right that those who do not want any kind of adverse comments or criticism should not post updates on Facebook. When they make their private moments/life public, there are bound to be repercussions. I think those kinds of Facebook users learn their lessons only they are hit back by odd comments. It is better not to update our private moments on a public site like FB, else we will be responsible for our deeds.
Do you post updates about your day to day activities on FB?

I have been thinking about my daily interaction on facebook and sometimes wonder if it is the right thing. It is true that you get to control who sees your posts, in my case only friends and not public. Friend requests for me can come from friends of friends only. I was a teacher and most of my facebook friends are old students and teacher colleagues. In fact I once called it one huge classroom! I see no dangers in that, only splendid advantages to be so connected!
