Too Many Eggs in One Basket

A few weeks ago I received an email about another popular writing forum I used to like. The email said that due to all the new Penguin and Panda changes with Google, they would no longer be offering pay for sharing content (sound familiar). Well this got me to thinking how I'm so glad I don't have all my eggs in the same basket. Don't get me wrong, I totally love PPC programs, down line projects and all this stuff as they are good ways to earn money online; however, I'm just not the kind of person that will stake all my trust in something that could change or get shut down at any moment. This is why I totally believe in having my own website and creating an avenue to make money money online for myself. I've had too many occurrences where I was totally in to something and it went belly up me without a moments notice. Its kinda like being in a car accident and neither driver has any insurance. Even if you can't totally focus on it, it's a good idea to have a few eggs in another basket that you attend to a little at a time. We can call those elephant eggs. Elephants have the longest pregnancies--to the tune of two years if I"m not mistaken. Although nothing is completely certain, you've got a better chance at making a steady income when you have your own niche website (blog) and nurture it. This way, you don't have to worry about shattered eggs or closed doors unless you decide that's the way it's going to be. So here's my shameless plug...lol...respond to my post so you can learn what it takes to become a successful blogger TODAY!

@Yihao, now if I think like that I will never make any money. I am a smart business woman so I have learned the fine art of investigating what I do and how I do things. Do you make money online? If so, how do you go about it?
