Cleveland is the city where I come from!

30 years ago I moved away to sunny San Diego, CA to pursue a dream. Not an acting or a music career...my dream was to leave Cleveland and make something of myself. They say that if you can make it in New York, you can make it anywhere. Well, California is very similar. I loved it there. I made friends there that I will have for the rest of my life but something was missing. After losing an older brother and sister to cancer, I realized just how important family was to me and so I packed up everything and moved back home to Cleveland to spend as much time as I could with family and especially my parents. I haven't been the perfect son but I try my best. I left a good job in California where I made just over $22/hr in the Healthcare I.T. field and came home to no job but you know what? It was worth it to be near my family. I can get another job, but I only have one family.

Kudos to you for being so willing to give up your life in california to be closer to your family. as we get older, we realize how important having those connections are, even though as young adults we feel the need to spread our wings and fly off on our own. Hope everything works out for you back in Cleavland!
