Ramblings and Musings

I am an aspiring writer that likes to read and write fiction stories and the concept of personification.
And in my current idle state of boredom, one thought randomly appeared in my head. The ever so common 'time moves fast when you're having fun' and my little addition of 'and slow when you're not'. (I'd rather it go the other way around instead...).
And as I tepidly pondered over that thought, my half-lidded eyes watched uninterested as a quick commercial that happened to feature sharks appeared on the TV in front of me. That gave me a thought.
Sharks and time.
The two together would definitely make an unlikely comparison.
As we all know, time moves forward, never back. (It moves way too fast for my liking...). It is said that if a shark stops moving, it would die. And since we're comparing sharks to the time...
If time stops moving, then what would that bring? My first thought as a reply to that question of curiosity would be death, one of the few inevitable that comes with time. After all, if time stopped moving for us, then we'd be dead. It meant that our life had ended.
Life.
And so another joins the random and completely pointless comparison-turned-adventure that I somehow made up as I lay haphazardly on a couch at home while racking my brain for something to write in my first myLot post as an assignment for my English class. (Hopefully I'll get a decent grade...)
What follows life is a parade of black and white, and waiting at the end of it is death.
Basically, where there is life, death is sure to follow.
I'm aware that I've digressed numerous times in this first post of mine, completely opposite of the steady flow of time.
Even as I sit here, halfheartedly writing and forcefully sewing together all these nonsensical thoughts and random ideas flowing through my mind in my current idle state of boredom, time continues on moving forward and ignoring the fact that it permanently drags life along with it to eventually meet death at the end.
I guess, all I can say is that I hope I get a decent grade for writing this nonsense. Oh well, at least I tried...
