Well, the white letters on the black background make it very hard to read. I would change the template to something not so dark and more pleasing to the eye. Whenever I see sites in that color scheme I usually just pass them up for something else. For example, I went with a very basic blogger theme in the beginning but then I hired someone on Fiverr.com to create a new blogger template to match my Facebook Fan page template. I'm still using a simple template but I changed the colors and headers to something more appealing to the eye. I didn't realize what a difference it made until I saw someone else using my original blogger template. If you notice, you generally see a lot of sites use the colors light blue and white just like MyLot, Facebook, Bill Collectors Hate Me!!!, etc. It's because these colors are appealing to the eye and makes reading easier. Just my opinion.
