Poverty is a common social issue that has troubled nations for thousands of years. Poverty has been a consistent problem throughout history. No matter what the median income, unemployment or overall prosperity level is, there will always be people who are homeless and hungry. Despite being one of the most prosperous countries in the world, inspite ,try to help them out and start a new beginning try to share your knowledge and blessing to those who have nothing do something for someone else, it feels good. I often wonder when I get old will I have someone there to help me? Will I have the strength and energy to do the things myself? I know that I will always help others, and whatever happens in my life, I will always have the memories of the people that I have helped over the years. As we look at our own lives we should think about Servant Leadership on how we can make a difference in people’s lives. You may help out an individual or an organization such as Habitat for Humanity. I feel that my experience combined with completing my College life will prepare me to meet my responsibilities as a citizen in my community. Remember the smiles you get after helping someone are rewarding and make you feel really good about yourself.

Sometimes I kind of question if education is really the answer againts poverty, I have seen many college graduates with no job while someone like me who never goes to college is a manager in a call center. The owner of National Bookstore is only an elementary Graduate and Bill Gates is a college drop out. I think aside from education people need to learn a certain skill to succeed in life. we need to be resourceful of what we have and we also need to believe in ourselves in able for us to succeed. Aside from education, I think what poor people need not food rations and donations but livelihood. so I admire those NGO's (not the Janet Napoles type) who helps people to stand with their own feet,
