Is Mylot going from a paying site to a non-paying site, or was it just a scam?

This is a serious question. I originally came here for a little bit of money per day or even per week, just to post and share my interests! My husband works seven days a week, and I have a child, but I would like to help out by doing it online while she is working. So while she is working at her desk, ( FYI, she is home-schooled, and if you have a child you should try it) I would like to be on the internet, and help our household at the same time. Please answer me on that! Everyone on Mylot should know! But, if it does not pay, I will still keep posting! I just need to know!

As Cupkitties has said, MyLot ended the earnings program in May. It is not, and never was, a scam. In fact, when it paid, it had the reputation of being one of the best moderated sites around which had paid exactly what was due on time, every time for over 6 years. The decision to end the earnings program was taken responsibly and, although members received rather short notice, it was wound down equably and the payment threshold was reduced from $10 to $5 at the end so that most people who had earned at least that amount received a final payment. With the opening of the new website, many people found it unfamiliar so I wrote a brief guide to it, explaining the basics of navigating and using the site. I have since expanded it somewhat to include some frequently asked questions and some ideas on ways in which the site may be useful to people. "How to Use MyLot" is a much-visited, ongoing project which I add to from time to time. Although I am happy to say that it has had the blessing of the owners and moderator of MyLot, it is my own, independent work and not associated with MyLot LLC.

Mylot became a non paying site soon after the new look was put into place. They were never a scam. It's just that they did used to pay their members for many years so there are still a lot of old blogs and articles from back then.
Later this week, we will launch the most significant revamp myLot has seen since it was born over 7 years ago. myLot has been re-imagined with a clear emphasis...
