Love is only chatter but friends are all that matter. Your real friend will certainly help in your need. I can not expect a hapy life without friends. I think old wufe,old dog and old money are the real friends of man
A real friend will never hide any secret from you. A friend is like an open book before another friend.Your love cheat you but never a real friend. I have seen that often the love may be converted in to tears but your friend will come and wipe out your tears.
Love is like a dropping bucket in to the empty well and drawing nothing up.It is a lost labour to play a jig to a cat.

My best friend---I'm probably not her best friend (whom--I think--she LIVES WITH) & I haven't even KNOWN her much longer than a year, but she told me "I'll be there to catch you when you fall, even if they don't let me in!" (she's only 18, I'm 32); so I LOVE HER 
(I know the ages seem far-separate, but the two in the last marriage in our church were 22 & 42! I'm not sayin` for-sure I want to marry her yet, but there's the precedent that makes it 'not too weird' 
)
