Its about a girl named Lydia Stone whose mother committed suicide after trying to strangle her when she was six. They assumed it was sever depression but Lydia knew otherwise. Her mother was scared of her, of what she could do.This event made her hard and unable to trust anyone except her father, who, unfortunately, was mugged and beaten to death the summer before her senior year. On Lydia's first day of being an official orphan ,her father's funeral still fresh on her mind, they shipped her off to (insert boarding school name here) for the "extremely gifted", what ever that meant. Lydia couldn't think of anything she was "extremely gifted" at. On her first day at (insert boarding school name here) she meets Bennett Asher, a strikingly good looking narcissist and Grant Dales an all-american football star with a dark side. Are the voices in her head connected to them, somehow, she knows they are. What is this place and why dose she feel so safe?
I was thinking about at her fathers funeral, or is that too dark?
Do you like Crimson Boarding School for the name?
Thank you, and I look forward to your feedback.

I am writing a book in November. Is your book for November Novel month as well? I think what the story will be about and how it is written will be your determination to make. For me I want something light but this may not be the answer for you. As a reader I tend to stay away from dark unless the story is about realism and has a good meaning so that I learn something from it.
