What does it mean when a guy gives you a ring.?

A ring represents multiple things. Bond of friendship or love. It depends on how long have you been his friend. If he just met you few days ago and gave you a ring out of the blue, then it is a little scary. Try asking why he gave you? Love or friendship? If it is a friendship ring, keep it and thank him. If love then say what you wish to say. If he is the sort of person with an open-mind, he would understand if you return the ring. Since you don't wish to meddle yourself getting into a relationship, then better clear things up before things turn stale!

We can have many friends in life but do not let the guys come closer to more than the proper limit. I would like to advise not to give a ring back to him. First check him and then go forward.

I guess he thinks that your finger is missing something or it look nicer to have a ring on. A ring doesn't mean anything at all and it just a friendship. I don't think you should feel awkward towards him. Happy Mylotting.
