I use istonsoft to copy music from iPhone to Computer,This is a guide:"http://www.istonsoft.com/iphone/transfer-copy-music-from-iphone-4s-to-computer.html", it performs well among all the software. It allows you to transfer and manage your apps, photos, music, ringtone, audiobooks, videos, TV shows, MV, playlist, eBooks and more between iPod/iPhone/iPad and Mac freely and easily. It also supports converting audios and videos for iPod/iPhone/iPad freely.
You can also use iTunes to backup the device, but for easy drag and drop, istonsoft would make it simple to do. It allows for file transfers music from iphone to any computer, any user at any time with low risk of losing files. Transferring any video files from an iOS device to a computer isn’t easy, if possible, to do with iTunes, but istonsoft does so easily.
Sync the device for trasnfering data.
Use an application to easily transfer files.
Drag and drop files iPod to iPhone or vice versa.
First of all pls make sure that ur iTunes is set to manually manage music. Then do it as the following dteps:
1.Connect iPod to computer, go to my computer n double click iPod drive, choose “tools” – “Folder Options”– “View” – select “Show Hidden Files & Folders”and click “OK”
2.now right click “iPod Control” folder– select “Properties”– un-select “Hidden” and click “OK” – select “Apply Changes To This Folder, Subfolder And Files” and click “OK” .
3.Next, click “iPod Control” folder and open “Music” , did u see folders labeled F00, F01, F02, F03…? Now Place iTunes side by side w/ this window and make sure that “Music Library” is displayed.
4.In iTunes select “Edit” – Preferences–Advanced, and put a check next to: “Keep iTunes Music Folder Organized” &”Copy Files To iTunes Music Folder When Adding To Library”, click “OK”.
5.Last step, just drag and drop all of the “F” folders into “Music Library” of itunes.
Done!
If you still have your old computer then you need to do home sharing. If not then all you can do is transfer your purchases from your iPhone onto the computer and reimport all the music from your CDs. You will then have to reset your phone using that computer and sync with the computer.
The iPhone like all iDevices has never been intended as a backup of your media.
Use the backup of the old computer or the old computer to move all your media to the new computer. There is no reason to involve the iDevice until the content has been moved.
Some times iTunes may fails to sync your Apple device while trying to transfer your files. At such situation you need an advanced iPod to iPhone transfer application by which you can easily transfer your files. This application easily sync your device and allow you transfer, modify, delete, manage files. Just follow these simple steps to transfer files from one multimedia device to another:
There are number of tools available in the market to tansfer your music to the iTunes, however, you can also manually transfer your music from iPhone to the computer system using iTunes. You just need to connect your iPhone to the iTunes via PC. ()
However, when you keep your data with the iTunes then you may find several issues when restoring the data if required. Such situation can make your very frustrate thus to recover your data from the iTunes backup just use a reliable iPhone data recovery tool.
Note that when you install this app that looderharden posted, it will only let you transfer three songs unless you buy the full version… bait and switch, I’d say. If you have purchased music through the iTunes WiFi store and want to transfer it back to iTunes: right-click on the iPhone in the source column of iTunes and click on “sync back”.
If you have inadvertently deleted music in iTunes and want it to transfer back from the iPhone: it is possible, I’ve no idea how to do it, but I’m sure someone around here can help.
