I and a few other Facebookers have complained about Facebook's use of a Content Delivery Network because it makes Facebook load very-slowly on our computers. But I think it's Akamaihd.net that makes it possible for us myLotters to automatically post our discussions to our profile-pages, -for other FireFoxers and I to use a plug-in to post OTHER pages to our profiles, -friends, -pages & -groups, and for 'texters' to access their news-feeds etc. I wish Facebook provided a 'way around akamaihd.net' for us 'old-schoolies' (I remember 'back in MYYY DAYYY' when computers were something for 'new-schoolies') Is there any way to make Facebook faster for old-schoolys?
