two days ago my laptop hard drive gave away....it was corrupted to the root...took it out of the laptop.
now new notebook hds are really expensive for me...so i use the pen drive and run linux mint. its gr8 bcs i dnt need much space on this notebook as i mostly wrk on pc.its a 8 gb pen drive. my question is --- does a flash drive get corrupted eaily when used all the tym.....bcs this flash drive is being used as a hd ryt now.....and i lyk to keep the lappy turned on all the tym....so is it worth to use the pen drive.

My answer would be everything has a life span and will over time get old and need replacing however a flash drive should have a very long life span without corruption. It might be slower than a hard drive. I am not 100% sure about this answer but for not believe it is correct.
