I have noticed that many Indians confuse 'his' and 'her'. I don't know why this is but can only assume that in Indian languages (as in French and many other languages) the possessive pronoun agrees with the thing possessed rather than with the possessor. 'His husband' is incorrect in English (unless one is speaking of a homosexual marriage). Even correcting the sentence to read "Her divorced husband weds her ex-husband" makes no sense unless we are speaking of a lady who was married twice in succession to two men, both of whom she divorced, and both of whom were subsequently involved in a gay relationship. What is the source of the headline?

Definitely a gay story, although divorces are generally more serious than gay.
