SUPERSTITIONS ARE NOT THE PART OF RELIGION

I think that most of the people think that superstitions are the inseparable par of religion. but it is a wrong notion. We should believe only those things which are believable. Only he is blind who believes anything blindly. For example-If a cat intercepts your way why do we think it an I'll omen. The cat has also the right to cross the road. Suerstition is the senseless fear of God and reproach of the deity. It is the greatest surprise that inall superstitions, even the wisest and the most honourable persons follow the unwise and unhonourable people. Sickness and sorrows come and go but we never give up the superstition which we set in our minds during the sickness. Do we know that some who show that they are great souls like priests give full fillip to these useless superstitions to earn the illegitimate moneney and enjoy your hardearned money.

But what if "the deity" tells you that black cats are the bringers of warnings like that?

We should follow what our consciousness allows. CONSCIOUSNESS IS THE SUREST PRESENCE OF GOD IN US. Never go anywhere to ask anything because all the answers are present in you. All the books are the production of mind, all the books of the world can not produce a mind Thanks a lot..

But how do we know it's not the daemon shifting things around in our consciousness (by playing with our senses)?

Hehe well if you kinda think it, except of the money purposes people created superstitions in order to reduce accidents to happen or for ethical reasons . For example you don't open your umbrella in a closed area because 1) someone will get hurt 2) you already have a roof above you head.

Thank you very much for a right comment. But I think that superstitions are the production of illiterate people. A narrow mind and a wide mouth often go together. We show to the public that we are getting modern but we do not give up blind faith which are the greatest barriers in the way to progress.
