Let you be however according to people around, you got to believe you are rocking your world already. It does not matter if you don't fit the ideal definition of 'fashionable'.If you are confident enough about how you dress and how you carry yourself you'l find people looking up at your fashion through your eyes. I had a friend a while ago who always found a particular denim top of mine funny, but it made me no difference i kept wearing it often and then 2-3 weeks later she asked me 'I like that top of yours, Where did you get it from?'. LOL! Fashion has no boundaries, you can always invent your own. Don't believe it? Watch FTV. You'l come across trends that wont fit your vision of 'trend', you might even chuckle over with the extremeness of your dislike, but those designers mint a great deal since they do have people appreciating their ideas. Just like that be your own designer, shop clothes that you would like to wear,forget what the current trend is, stick to your comfort zone. Then again, if love you following the trend, follow! , switch the way you dress if you are bugged, look nerdy if you want to, look casual if you want to, look glamorous if you want, wear make-up if you want, don't if you don't, do whatever you like. If criticism comes your way, no worries, it wont last long! and if it does why should you care? Well, all this while be humble. Impertinence,narcissism,boastfulness would just make you sound stupid and stagnates the respect,belief that people would otherwise have in you. All in all, EVERYBODY IS A MODEL, WALKING ON THEIR VERY OWN RAMP, WITH THEIR VERY OWN FASHION!
