.) Deepika padukone-"Sheer simplicity" Her roles in movies have been intense as well as bubbly and chilled out. Her recent action-comedy 'Chennai Express' was a blockbuster. Her role as a typical Chennai girl was highly appreciated and she looked flawless in her outfits. Her outfits included saris and half-saris(lehnga-odhni). She pulled it off with ease and her famous 'lungi dance' sari is unforgettable! If your tall with a slim physique and have a keen interest for ethnic wear try wearing South Indian inspired silk sari. Don't accessorize too much and try to make it simple with just a touch of pink on your lips. Wear a pair of gold bangles or earrings and team it up with a side braid or simply leave your hair open. The in-style sari is now available with checks print, animation prints and neon colours. A must try for Deepika followers. Also try draping it in modern styles but make sure you get the simplicity doing the work for you!
.) Sonam Kapoor-"Welcome back Vintage!" The style icon of our country- Sonam Kapoor cannot be missed out on this list. Her movie 'Aisha' though did not do well on the box office made her an all time sensation because of her impeccable dressing sense in the film. She flaunted bright pinks, polka dot prints, shimmering lehngas and her contrasting choice of accessories which looked just right. Her polo match outfit in the film cannot be missed out wherein she flaunted a white dress that brought back the classy vintage look in style. Blacks and off-whites were pulled off really well too. Try out her style by wearing short dresses with bright colours along with contrasting accessories and pumps. Pull it off with ease by trying vintage looks with old-style prints like polka dots and checks which look great. Try wearing flowy netted floral gowns or Lacey gowns preferably white. Don't overload yourself with colours but try pinks, greens, off whites and blacks which add a touch of elegance to it. Do some good make up and try buns along with heavy floral hairbands, polo hats. Don't let the vintage look fade away and go completely stylish!
.) Priyanka Chopra-"The Classic Chick!" Our very own rockstar PC has awed us with her music. Not just the music but her look as a diva has rocked us! Her look in 'In my city' and 'exotic' included cheetah prints, shimmering gold transparent dresses, metallic gold pants, leather black shorts, her beige swimsuit and my personal favourite is her multi coloured jacket with elaborate embroidery. Try wearing tail jumpsuits as Priyanka has flaunted in one of her promotional event. Wear some dark make up with smokey eyes and a dusky complexion. Team up with an eye-catching neck piece or studded leather bracelets. All this can look absolutely wow. Her pink studded boots looked perfect with her neon crop top and her matching accessories too enhanced the rockstar look. Find the rockstar in you and feel exotic!
.) Alia Bhatt-"This seasons sensation" The shining new face of Bollywood who made her debut with SOTY last year became popular because of her acting skills. Apart from that, she has shown an exceptional dressing sense in her film all thanks to Manish Malhotra who was the costume designer of the film. She played the role of a cute bubbly pampered girl and her clothes depicted the same. From bright oranges to reds, pinks, yellows, greens and off-whites, she flaunted them all. Her prom dress is much talked about. Her knee length plain red dress with a matching coloured bow in the centre looked fab. The lucky girl got a chance to get her make up done by Micky Contracter, a renowned make up artist. She showed some bright pinks and is usually shown in bright reds. Her "Radha" lehnga designed by Manish Malhotra is also glamourous. Her shimmering lehenga with a bright pink blouse was apt for her age and brought a young and vibrant look in her. The jackets and coats she wore we're absolutely amazing. This winter you can carry her look by wearing mustard colour jackets and fury coats wore by her in the film. Her hair half way in the movie was straightened which was mostly pulled back by a hairband.Though she didn't quite excite us with accessories, I didn't feel her looks was incomplete as the colourful dresses itself did all the talking. You can enhance the look by wearing contrasting stilettos pair it up with a clutch or a handbag. But this look is definetely incomplete without your million dollar smile! So show off your feminine side and look like a diva just like Alia did!
.) Anushka Sharma-"The sporty look" Her role in Jab Tak Hai Jaan showcased her as a journalist. She wasn't really a tom-boy but surely portrayed the look of a ruff girl the right way. She wore baggy military pants, tank tops, hot-shots, tucked in shirts, leather jackets and printed scarves which definitely looked smart. The outfit of a black t-top with a brown coat was appreciated by me and dressing up in that fashion in this winter would look good. Again, in this case her outfits are plain, dull and not very accessorised but still it brings out a lot of satisfaction because of the scarves and shoes. Her sunglasses too bring in a cool look. Also try wearing hats and go natural with no makeup. All the best!
