One of my son's teeth has started to decay. I want to take him to the dentist before it starts getting worse, but he is scared of doing to the dentist. Last time we were there to pluck his tooth and it was very painful so now he runs at the mention of dentist. Anyone with similar experience and advice?

Don't worry, this is something what every parent must have endured. Every children have this aversion to dentist but then that doesn't stop them from eating chocolates and ruining their teeth. But the dentist these days have made their clinics children friendly so that the children don't run away from them. The clinic where I go to He takes the kids who are visiting for the first time for a tour around the clinic. If you are familiar with your dentist ask him to do something along the same lines. And make your son understand that if doesn't go to the doctor the pain will be much higher.
