Energy Saving methods

My niece studies in New York and last month when she called she told me that her school was going energy efficient and have started saving energy. They are doing some reconstruction work there and they have replaced all the incandescent lights with LED and CFL. She was really excited talking about it and she is just 10. I was surprised bu her enthusiasm. Later her mother (my sister) told me that their library is also going energy efficient by using solar panels and all. I went searching about it and found these blogs that were promoting their work. It is a good thing that such efforts are promoted.
