this basic ingredient is soybean. one of the food creation is mendoan. this is fried not too cooked. this is absolutely perfect to served and enjoyed in a rainy and cold day. this is more delicious to eat together with chili. a bite of chili makes it perfect. oh, you should try it. you just find it in INDONESIA

So is this basically a tofu type snack? What else goes in to it? It looks interesting. My girlfriend and I are amateur chefs of sorts (she is far better than I am) and we're always on the look out for new stuff to experiment with.

in bahasa indonesia it is named "tempe" but i forgot the name in english. this is crispy. many ways to cook it. if you love the crispy one, you can take a little longer to fry it. but originally it's fried in a medium cook or i can say undercook or not too cook. you can try it. many things of indonesian food/cousine that i can share here. you both gotta curious. and this picture is tempe, the basic to make mendoan. then, cover it with a mixture of water and flour. you can add some chives in to it. finally, fry it and serve it
