Real Love, and not gifts are necessary in a relationship

It has been seen that in any relationship, it is the men who shower expensive gifts on their other half. Be it expensive costumes, elegant jewelry or even sometimes a vehicle there is no dearth of money for the men as far as investing it behind their love is concerned. But the big debate is, is it justified to spend a lump sum amount of money only behind gifts? I am afraid that if this topic is to be discussed on a larger platform other than any social networking site, a spark of debates will arise, justifications and logics from both sides followed by noise would create utter confusion. Well, you can do that even here in the comment box….:) So, coming back to the topic, let me start by saying that women are really someone who are to be adored, they are to be loved and respected. They deserve care and importance of the male but that love cannot be achieved by constant showering of materialistic things over them. What a woman expects from a man is his support to stand behind her like a strong wall even during the time of distress, to love her throughout the life, to help her cope with stress and lend a helping hand to her whenever necessary. In today’s world of instant make up and break up, it is trust that sustains a relationship and helps it to survive for a life long period of time. Between a male and female in a relationship it is especially the male who confuse what real love is, they spend most of their time behind their looks and other important things like presenting gifts to their partners. To some extent, these things are necessary especially at the initial stages of a relationship, but after a certain point of time these same things seem unnatural to a woman. They begin to expect other things such as co-operation or support as discussed above. To cut the long story short, it can be said that it is not the gifts that make a woman fall in love with the man but it is his mental support and understanding that binds a beautiful relationship for a long time.
