I like pop music,and sometimes l prefer to listening classical music,like symphony.But I rarely really understand them,which makes me upset.So what do u think about classical music?And why do you like it?

Classical music seems to transport me to an unfamiliar place where everything is quite dramatic. I love the undulating tones, profound crescendos, falling diminuendos, the changing tempo, the array of orchestral instruments with the animated expressions of their masters and last but not least; the Maestro's baton as the umpire of the overall performance. But like you; although I love listening to symphony music I have no idea what is actually happening in each performance. Does it really matter?

This surprises some people, but I am a heavy metal and progressive rock musician who loves classical music. It has been a great influence on my guitar playing. My personal favorite is Bach.

I love all kind of good music and appreciate the variety. It all depends on the mood I'm in.
