Violence, is it the real answer?

A friend posted a video on Facebook where an older man and a younger man we're yelling at each other on a bus. It ended up in a beat down. I ask, is there any reason to excuse using violence to end an argument? Seems to me there is way to much anger and needless violence taking place, not just in public, but also behind closed doors. Where do we draw the line? Any thoughts?
